Artefact - 3.4 - Be able to monitor own creative activity
19th November: Investigating Artefacts (PowerPoint)
I researched on the internet to find out everything about an artefact. I found out that an artefact is made out of many things and ways. They could be made with machines or they can be man made etc... An artefact can be old or new. It can be used for the media, performing arts and also the visual arts industry.I put my information onto a powerpoint.
I didn't finish completing my powerpoint.
1st December: Investigating Artefacts (PowerPoint)
I carried on making my powerpoint. I looked at photography in artefact and i learnt that photography has many uses such as business, science and art. Photography is for making or crating a still or moving image by a recording radiation.
I also looked at logos. I found out that they are either purely graphic or are composed of the name of the organization. Logos are very simple but look very complicating. I found out more things about logos when i was researching.
I didn't finish completing my powerpoint.
3rd December: Investigating Artefacts (PowerPoint)
I carried on creating the powerpoint on Artefact. I researched on visual arts. They are forms of art that create work which are mainly visual in nature. Visual arts can be made in different ways such as drawings, sculptures, craft etc... I found out more about visual arts. I added this information to my artefact powerpoint. I also added images about all the different things in my powerpoint. I used the colour black and white in me powerpoint because i think it represents an artefact.
I finished my artefact powerpoint.

Artefact - 3.3 (Creating a peice of visual arts)
Creating a piece of visual arts
1) You are going to be panting and the acrylic paints are in the store cupboard, your best brushes in your bag and the water jars by the sink.
- I have to make sure i have all the equipment that will need.
2) You are going to be using a hot glue gun in your work and there are bags and coats all over the desk.
- You have to remove the bags and coats off the desk and then use the hot glue gun.
3) You have just finished sawing wood for the construction of your piece and are preparing to vanish it.
- You should vanish it in a clear area so you have space to work in.
4) You need to use a can of spray glue to mount some paper to card for your project and you are in a small busy classroom.
- You should ask someone for a spray gun
5) I think that Luke should take photographs of flowers for himself. They should have had a backup plan.
6) Kiara can use tape or a different type of glue to stick the plastic. She should have had a backup plan.
7)Amy should use different types of thread. She should have had a backup plan.

Artefact - 3.3 (Planning a piece of artefact)
Planning a piece of artefact
1) Ellie has been given three days to produce a textile throw as a prop for a stage play. She plans to decorate the three-metre-long throw with detailed-hand-embroidery.
- This would take more then three days to produce because Ellie is decorating it by hand.
- She needs to get people to help her finish.
2) Pria has a very small grant of £50 from a local charity to produce a piece of sculpture for the entrance hall of their local office. She has chosen to produce the piece in bronze using a hired bronze-casting workshop.
- She has to find the cost of the bronze-casting workshop.
- Make sure she has enough money for everything.

Artefact - 3.3 (Visual arts)
Visual Arts
Over time, the way in which printed posters have been produced has changed alot. In the 1880s poster art work created by artists such as Alphose mush a were reproduced using lithogrraphy, a process that involved using hand-operated presses. Mow poster designers usually use computers to create there designs, digital, machanised presses to reproduce the work.
1) Advantages about digital and mechanical processes bring to poster production is:
- You can make more
- More ideas
- It looks much better to look at
- You can experiment with different ideas
Disadvantages about digital and mechanical processes bring to poster production is:
- You might not be able to put the actual design you wanted
- You might not have the correct materials

How my pot reflects on my own identity
My pot reflects my identity because it shows pictures about where i live and who i am. It has words and names that say what i do and my name. My pot tells you most things about me.
